CyanogenMod, the free third party distribution of Android 2.2 has recently reached version 6.0.2 and it’s now ready to hit your HTC Desire. You can download the ROM from here and in case you’re wondering what’s new, this software brings a GPS fix, a new kernel with proximity fix and Speepup Galllery 3D.
The previous version (6.0.1) also brought some nice stuff to the smartphone: optical trackpad fix, light sensor fix, battery drain and turned on the AGPS options. Hints about Nandroid backup and flashing your device can be found here.
