While many people are saying that HTC One A9 is the most famous iPhone clone ever, today we have come across a device that does an even finer job at cloning the latest iPhones. It’s called the Butterfly (DB) D1688 and it has just been certified by the TENAA.
Measuring 7.2 mm in thickness, this model comes with LTE connectivity and it keeps the format of the iPhone 6, down to the ring of the Home button. I can’t even guarantee it’s made of metal, like in the case of the HTC One A9, but it sure does keep those plastic cutouts at the back. The screen seems to be an edge to edge affair, but as usual the screen panel is probably smaller.
Specs are rather modest, including the 8 GB of storage, 8 megapixel back camera and front 2 MP shooter. There’s a microSD card slot in the mix and the CPU sounds like a single core affair, judging by the specs listing of TENAA. The product packs a 5.5 inch TFT 720p display and runs Android 5.1.
