During the Bangalore Fashion Week, Dell launched the Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 handset in India, one of the best WP7 phones on the market. The design is the one that makes this device unique, since this is the only sliding portrait QWERTY handset with the new mobile OS made by Microsoft on board.
The handset goes for $796 locally, a huge price for any country, especially when you can find it in the States for $449. The device comes with a 5MP camera and 8GB and we’re sure you can do better with that amount of money. It will even buy you a Motorola Xoom slate you’ll have money left over for an iPhone.
Dell has partnered with Indian carrier Aircel to provide special plans for the phone, that include 1GB of data per month for one year and 2190 minutes of local talk time, plus 7300 SMS messages.
