While speaking at Mobile World Congress 2009 today, AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph De La Vega mentioned that Dell announced they’ll be entering the smartphone market. Strange to hear such a statement from someone who’s not part of Dell, but we were expecting this.
Dell did not comment on this statement and the company is not present at MWC this year, but I’m sure they’re working in the shadows and readying something that would kill the iPhone, Palm Pre and Toshiba TG01. The question is: “will it use Android?”
