Some phone makers out there are just happy with cloning products from other companies and sometimes they do it well. Some of them even name the products the same as the source of inspiration. Doogee has come up with the Doogee MIX handset, clearly inspired by the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but also pretty well made, at first sight.

This full screen machine has a great screen to body ratio and also very narrow bezels on the right, left and top side. The bottom is a bit bigger than we’ve seen on similar phones like the Sharp Aquos Crystal or even the Mi MIX. The front camera seems to have been moved at the bottom, while the earpiece is probably replaced with a vibration system.

The Doogee Mix has a dual camera at the back, which is an extra from the Mi MIX, that only had one cam. This phone is also smaller, with a 5.5 inch screen on board, Full HD resolution and an AMOLED panel in the mix. It uses a physical Home button, probably with fingerprint scanner included and inside it we find a MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

There’s also a higher end version out there, with 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and a MediaTek Helio X30 chipset. As far as the cameras are concerned, the handset brings a 16 MP + 8 MP back shooter and a 5 MP front camera. The price is yet unclear, but it will certainly be lower than the one of the Mi MIX. A good piece of news is that the device is expected to reach the international market.
