The folks of Slashgear have managed to score the hottest device coming this month, Motorola’s Droid X, hitting Verizon in a matter of days. They reviewed the Android 2.1 device and gave us their opinion on the fresh smartphone. We learn that Droid X comes with a new MOTOBLUR version and a brilliant 4.3 inch display, among others.

The screen supports a 854 x 480 pixel resolution and it’s a capacitive touch LCD we’re dealing with. Droid X weighs 155 grams and measures 9.9mm in thickness. On the back there’s an impressive 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, that performs nicely. As far as connectivity is concerned, you get WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, microUSB 2.0 and a micro HDMI port that allows you to hook the phone up to a HDTV.

This new Droid comes with a 16GB microSD card in the box and you have to know that under its hood you’ll find a 1GHz Texas Instruments CPU, that runs smoothly. The device’s multiple microphones and loud speakers will generate an excellent audio experience, so you won’t be disappointed.
