You don’t mess with the Russians! Specially when they start developing a 4G smartphone, that’s as cool as the one pictured below. This dual display device was recently seen in the hands of Russian president Dmitry Medvedev and it’s only a prototype for now.

In fact, the handset is even less than a prototype, more of a plastic unit with a piece of cardboard on top simulating the UI. The phone should incorporate an E Ink display and a LCD touchscreen, we suppose, one on each side of the device.

Rumor has is that the finished phone will be launched in May 2011, but it might stay in Russia exclusively.
