From time to time we get to see not only Braille handsets for blind users, but also eco-friendly phones that rely on unconventional energy sources. This time we’re dealing with a bracelet phone called Leaf, designed by Seungkyun Woo and Junyi Heo and pictured below.

Leaf Phone uses solar cells placed on its front side, that’ll juice up the device. The handset can also be recharged with electricity, thanks to a normal cradle, in case the day is cloudy. The concept phone incorporates a speaker, a magnetic terminal, a LED dot display, a navi ball controller and a flexible band.

If the user decides to wear the phone like a bracelet he or she will be making a fashion statement and an eco-friendly one, too.
