Elephone has been receiving a lot of press recently, thanks to their hot offers for smartphones with high end specs. After the Elephone P7000 got a huge number of people pre registered to buy it, it’s time to wait for the Elephone P8000. Today the device unveils itself in a hands on video.
This new model is even better specced than the Elephone P7000 and as shown below it seems to come with a tweaked version of Android 5.1 Lollipop. The handset relies on a 13 megapixel Sony IMX214 camera, the same one used by the OnePlus One if I’m not mistaking. The device has minimal bezels and its design feels like a combo between a Meizu, Huawei and iPhone.
I like the way the Home button lights up in blue during use. The handset is expected to bring a MediaTek MT6753 processor, LTE connectivity and a 5.5 inch Full HD display, as well as 3 GB of RAM and a 4165 mAh battery. Sources in China talk about a July 20th debut and a price tag of just $209.99.
