Elephone has become big enough that it has its own subsidiary brand, dubbed ECOO. Now, said brand is gearing up to release a handset dubbed E06, that has just been teased by Elephone. You can check out two teaser images below.
The interesting bit about the E06 is the fact that it comes with Android 6.0 and it’s also a bit of a world premiere, since it’s the very first handset to feature a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset. A 5.5 inch Full HD screen is also included, as well as a full metal design and USB Type C port. At the back there’s a fingerprint scanner and we seem to be getting bottom dual speakers as well.
Helio P10 is an octa core processor, a 64 bit unit with Cortex A53 cores clocked at up to 2 GHz and a Mali T860 GPU. The P10 is the very first chip in the Helio P family, meant to bring premium features to midrange devices. It also offers the TrueBright ISP engine, LTE Category 6 and CorePilot, that sends workloads to the portions of the SoC best suited for certain activities.
