Although Facebook dismissed all rumors concerning a possible future smartphone bearing its branding, the speculations are back again, this time due to a leak. It seems that London-based company INQ has been working on such a device, one that is supposedly featured with a Facebook button, according to the mockup below.
This QWERTY smartphone is supposedly known as INQ Cloud Touch and it’s meant to focus on fast messaging and designed around the famous social network’s features. Its homescreen includes ways of accessing Facebook’s functions, plus there’s a dynamic widget showing status, picture and video updates.
Speculations say that this device is being prepared for a 2011 European launch and that it’ll also hit the US via AT&T. Its touchscreen could support Swype input, but that’s also in the realm of rumors, at this moment.
