Although TomTom announced its iPhone car cradle and software months ago, we haven’t seen any trace of their accessory just yet. Well, there is an UK retailer’s site, where you can pre-order the cradle, at a price of $161, but official info about it would be priceless. This is where the FCC’s official approval comes into play…

The FCC is testing the accessory as we speak, so it’s a sign that we’ll probably soon see it in shops. We must mention that we’re not sure if the cradle also works with the iPod Touch, although it should, but it’s just not mentioned as often as its better connected and bigger brother.
