Sony Xperia Z4 had been leaking a lot ahead of MWC 2015, but then everything was stopped and it started again with a bizarre photo of a metal phone posted by Sony China on Weibo. Today we get back to the original rumors, that claim the Xperia Z4 isn’t going to be very different from the Xperia Z3.

@Onleaks posted on Twitter what seems to be the first press photo of the Xperia Z4, that should be do in a month or so. This model supposedly measures 7.2 mm in thickness and it will keep the 5.2 inch diagonal of the predecessor. The top speaker seems to have been moved closer to the edge and it’s no longer placed in the middle of the bezel, like on the Xperia Z3.

The bottom part is said to adopt the same design direction for the speaker and the Z4 also seems to swap the position of the front camera and proximity sensor, compared to the predecessor. Under the hood is where the real change lies, with Sony Xperia Z4 packing a new IMX230 camera sensor, with real time HDR support, phase detection autofocus, as well as 3 GB of DDR4 RAM and a Snapdragon 810 CPU.

The handset will run Android 5.0.2 and we have no info on the battery right now.
