Although it’s making the iPad for Apple, Foxconn is apparently also developing its own slate, that got shown in action in the following video. We’re dealing with a 10 inch tablet running Android and supporting multitouch interaction.
Nvidia Tegra 2 is also on board, as the platform of choice and we’re curious to learn what kind of 10 inch display panel was chosen for this unit, considering Apple requires exclusivity for iPad components. This is a reference design you’re looking at, so it might change over time. Will Foxconn brand it or sell the device under a new branding eventually?
