The long-awaited and delayed Garmin Nuvifone has finally received the FCC’s blessing and should soon get a definitive launch date. Garmin’s first cellphone is manufactured by Asus and comes with GPS (obviously), dual-band UMTS support (850/1900 MHz) and HSDPA.

The supported 3G frequencies show that AT&T might be the carrier selling this device, but there’s no 100% confirmation yet.

Nuvifone comes with a 3.5 inches touchscreen and a finger-friendly interface, but don’t we hear that same info on all the new handsets nowadays?
