How cool is that for a Sunday story? UK paper the Sun reports that Andrew Cheatle lost his Nokia handset near the water, while playing with his dog, only to get hold of it later, with the aid of a fisherman.

The fisherman caught a giant cod who had swallowed the phone and called Cheatle from his very own SIM card, inserted in another handset. According to Glen Kerley, the man who caught the fish, “cods are greedy and they’ll eat anything”. It’s all because of their huge mouth…

The end of this story is pretty predictable: Andrew Cheatle got his phone back and it works almost 100% well, but it’ll need to get is circuit board changed. Fishy tale or incredible happening?
