Lately we heard a lot about Vivo’s upcoming phone called X5 Pro and its special feature that allows us to take 32 megapixel selfies. Today, we get to kow that the Chinese company Gionee prepares something similar, more precisely the E8.
This phone was recently certified by TENAA, and according to the information arrived in press, its camera will be a 23-megapixel sensor that can take 100 megapixel photos. This feature is possible through a special feature that makes quick photos and later combines them together in order to offer a huge picture of 100 megapixels or 10,240 x 10,240 pixels.
In terms of hardware, we’re getting a Quad HD AMOLED display, 3 GB of RAM memory, 32 GB space of internal storage and an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor. There’s a 3.250 mAh battery, a 8-megapixel selfie cam and Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
Gionee E8 will offer a fingerprint scanner placed on the back just below the camera. This device measures 9.6 mm in thickness and weighs around 207 grams. Its announcement is expected for the end of this month.
