Gionee is ready to bring a new Elife S series model to the market, as shown by a brand new teaser. It hints at the debut of the Gionee Elife S6 smartphone, that will take place next month, on November 16th to be more precise.
Sadly, there’s not much to tell about the handset. We only know it’s possibly the same device as the one codenamed GN9007 and certified by TENAA in August this year. That model was shown to have a MediaTek processor, an octa core unit clocked at 1.3 GHz, as well as a 5 inch AMOLED HD screen. The device also brought 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot.
In pure Gionee tradition, we expect the phone to have a low thickness, of around 6 mm and weigh around 124 grams. Latest certifications and leaks also mention a 13 megapixel camera at the back and 8 MP cam upfront. There’s Android 5.1 Lollipop as the OS with Amigo 3.1 applied on top.
