Today, Gionee announced a new budget-friendly device called Pioneer P2M, a phone that runs from factory Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with the Amigo 3.0 user interface applied on-top. Even if this phone doesn’t look so great in terms of design, taking in consideration its $110 price tag, we might let this behind.
Gionee Pioneer P2M brings a 4-inch IPS display with a 800 x 480 pixels resolution, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB space of internal storage, memory that can be expanded using a microSD card up to 32 GB. This phone offers a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also a 2-megapixel front-facing selfie sensor.
When it comes to connectivity, Pioneer P2M offers 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, a microUSB v2.0 port, a 3.5 mm audio jack and Bluetooth 4.0. Beside this specs, Gionee’s new dual-SIM device manages to raise an eyebrow when we get to know that its battery is a 3000 mAh unit, a pretty huge module for a 4 inch device.
According to the producer, Pioneer P2M can deliver up to 15 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time on 3G networks. Gionee P2M measures 10.9 mm in thickness and t will be available in three different color variants: golden, black and white.
