The Gionee M6S Plus may as well be a tablet, considering its battery capacity of 6020 mAh. The device was just announced today and it comes with very solid specs, like 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, plus more revealed below.

The device is an expansion on the idea of the Gionee M6 Plus from last year. The standout point is clearly the 6020 mAh battery and it’s 6 inch Full HD AMOLED screen with a 2.5D curved glass panel. Inside we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor, as well as 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 256 GB of storage, which is quite generous, for any price tag.

Camera-wise, we also get a 12 megapixel back shooter with F/1.9 aperture and dual pixel focus technology. Encryption is also a big deal here, thanks to a chip that helps secure the user’s personal data, calls and texts. This is an Android 6.0 Marshmallow machine with Amigo OS 3.5 applied n top. It’s got a front 8 MP camera, 4G VoLTE support and a fingerprint scanner.

Available in Ink Black, the product is priced at $508 in the 64 GB version and $625 in the 256 GB model. Sales start next month.
