Gionee S10 drew everybody’s attention when it was certified recently, since TENAA showed that it comes with a dual back camera and also a dual front shooter. It’s also supposed to be a flagship, judging by its Snapdragon 835 CPU and today we scored some promo shots and hands on shots of the machine.
It also appears that the four camera phone will debut on May 26th. Gionee is using a local celebrity to promote the newcomer and will unveil it at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. The handset adopts an antenna design similar to the iPhone 7’s and it seems to have a metallic body and a beautiful shade of green, among the color choices.
The trademark Gionee logo is at the back and upfront we find a Home button with fingerprint scanner. The Chinese device maker placed a 2.5D glass panel upfront and the latest info mentions an 8 megapixel and 2 megapixel sensor combo upfront, plus an 8 MP + 16 MP back camera setup. This will be 5.5 inch smartphone with a Full HD resolution and 6 GB of RAM.
Add to that 64 GB of storage and Android 7.1.1 and even the Xiaomi Mi 6 should tremble a bit. Nice to see Gionee reacting to the competition so fast.
