A couple of days ago we found out about a new smartphone developed by Gionee. This phone is named Gionee E8 and because it offers a 6-inch screen we get a phablet device. Apparently, is expected that the 23 megapixel camera on this phone is capable of making 100 megapixel photos. Following this news, today we get to know more about the phone’s specs.
Inside its metallic case, Gionee E8 comes with a 6-inch Quad HD Amoled display, an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, 3 GB of RAM memory and 32 GB space of internal storage. We’ll get a 8-megapixel front-facing camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box with the Amigo 3.0 UI applied on-top.
Gionee E8 will weight 207 grams and it will measure 164 mm in length, 82.3 mm in width and 9.6 mm in thickness. By comparison, its sizes are pretty similar to the ones of the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra (165.2 x 83.8 x 7.7 mm/ 177 grams).
