Golden Bumblebee is one of the strangest handsets I’ve seen a while, since it manages to combine the Transformers with Vertu and a fake sense of elegance. The device sports the Autobot logo on the back and an S.T. Dupont label, showing that some Vertu elements were also included in the design.
The maker of this device claims that this is the “world’s smallest slider phone”, but I wouldn’t bet on that. The faux gold paint on the product is certainly a flaw of the handset and if you’re wondering about the specs, know that Bumblebee comes with a 2 megapixel camera, quadband 2G and a stereo speaker.
There’s also radio FM on board, Bluetooth support, a mini-USB port and 8GB of internal memory. The price of this kitsch is $179.99.
