Just as Google lost executive Dipchand Nishar to LinkedIn, who hired him as the products VP, there’s another change of personnel that will shrink the amount of brilliant minds from big G’s camp. Turns out that Steven Horowitz, the engineering director that oversaw Android’s development is going to join Coupon Inc., as chief technology officer.
Coupons Inc. makes software used to create, distribute and track coupons, a great solution for marketers. While the economy is going down, Coupons is going up and the company plans on hiring 40 new employees by the end of next month.
Mr. Horowitz is going to work on Coupon’s mobile services and he left Google with the full appreciation of all his former colleagues, for the great work on Android.
