How about taking your work on the road? If Microsoft managed to take productivity to a new level with WP7, Google takes it up a notch and reveals the new and improved Google Docs, available on your Android and iOS device. We’re talking about a brand new documents editor, supporting editing straight from the mobile browser.
It’ll be rolling out in the following days and it’ll support live editing from events taking place in that instant (conferences, concerts etc). Also, you’ll be able to work on a certain document or table with a couple of other people using smartphones. You just need to check out docs.google.com from your mobile’s browser to get going, provided that you have a supported device.
Once you reach the document you want to edit just view it and press the Edit button. Android 2.2 handsets and iOS devices will support this new service, including the iPad. Here’s a detailed clip about the experience of editing on the go:
