The Haier W852 is an affordable smartphone, available in Russia and able to take on games, photos and videos, at merely $160 a pop. The product may not be a looker, actually it’s pretty bulky, but it does what is’s supposed to do.
The handset runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes with a 4.5 inch IPS screen with a qHD resolution, an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and HDR, as well as 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of storage and a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, the MediaTek MT6582. We also get HSPA+ support and dual SIM slots. Haier W852 measures 9.9 mm in thickness, weighs 156 grams and offers a microSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB of extra storage.
Its battery is a 1700 mAh unit and on the connectivity side we get WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G with a maximum download speed of 21.6 Mbps. I see that the speaker size is pretty reasonable here, so I expect some solid volume from this baby.
