Since the new season of Sons of Anarchy is starting, why not get a phone to go with your 2 wheeler? Harley Davidson has shown some custom smartphones at IFA 2014, or better said a hardware company that was allowed to use their brand.
The result is a machine with Windows Phone 8.1 on board, dual SIM slots and a price tag of 249 euros. The product is made by Italian company NGM, but also cobranded by the motorcycle brand. The logo stands out at the back, that imitates leather (or maybe it uses leather, who knows?). The handset has a typical rectangular design, a 5 inch 720p display, a quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU and 1 GB of RAM.
There’s 16 GB of storage available, an 8 megapixel main camera and this model is supposed to feel rugged and masculine. From what I can see we also get a metal frame to keep the whole device together in one piece. Pretty cool, right? Let’s see if Harley Davidson can also brand an Android phone now…
