Panasonic is already developing its own version of speech recognition solutions and translation and apparently finalized products will be unveiled during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The aim is to totally remove the language barrier and provide real time translation, no matter the background noise. Noise and voice are separated by a breakthrough technology.

In 2 or 3 years this idea will turn into a commercial product. Panasonic will provide the microphone translation techniques to the Narita airport, for trial testing till Arch 2016. The Japanese people will speak on the microphone and speech will be translated into English, Chinese or other languages.
