Sometimes it’s good to be a Microsoft employee and one of these times is when you get special prices for various devices. This is also the case of the HTC 7 Trophy, that is available for free on Verizon contract. There was a similar offer last year, but this one is even more appealing.

Microsoft employees will get the $199 smartphone free and a $100 line credit, in order to extend their contracts by 2 years. Verizon also throws in a free case and vehicle power charger. The HTC 7 Trophy on Verizon will debut on March 24th and it’s a dual band world device with 16GB of storage. The device comes with a 3.8 inch touchscreen, Windows Phone 7, a 1GHz CPU, 512MB RAM and a 5 megapixel camera.
