HTC just realized that they’ve been too modest with their previous projections for the sales that they expect to reach until the end of this year. The smartphone producer considerably increased the figures of their expectations.
While some handset producers usually dear to dream high sales numbers right from the beginning, HTC might have done some pretty realistic calculations, which must have lead to their decision of being more daring in their hopes.
HTC raised their shipment forecasts for the T-Mobile G1 from 0,6 to 1 million units and those for Touch Diamond from 2 million to 3 million sold units.
