HTC launched the Desire 816G Dual SIM handset in India, priced at $322 locally. This model gets all the goodies of the flagship HTC models, including Boomsound speakers and a pretty good camera.

We’re dealing with a phablet here, a 5.5 incher with a 720p resolution. This model relies on a pretty fast octa core processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz and accompanied by 16 GB of storage and 1 GB of RAM. Other features include Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6.0, a 13 megapixel back camera and a front 5 MP shooter, as well as dual front facing BoomSound speakers.

This phablet uses two nano SIM slots, has 3G HSPA+ connectivity and also offers a microSD card slot. It’s 7.9 mm thick, weighs 158 grams and offers HSPA+ connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2600 mAh battery. This model uses a plasticky and glossy case, in case you’re wondering.
