HTC has the habit of quietly unveiling new handsets every once in a while, usually midrange or lower end units, such as the one detailed below. This is the HTC Desire 400, a dual SIM handset that has debuted on the official HTC sites in Ukraine and Russia.

HTC Desire 400 integrates a 4.3 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and we also get a quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz. There’s 1 GB of RAM on board, an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash at the back and a front 1.6 MP shooter. There’s 4 GB of storage and a microSD card slot, or so says the Russian HTC site.

But then again, the Ukrainian site mentions a 5 megapixel camera at the back, front VGA shooter and dual core CPU, plus the dimensions are slightly different. Both models seem to have the same connectivity options, as well as Sense UI and BlinkFeed. Also we get a 1800 mAh battery and sadly there’s no price associated here.
