HTC has a new device coming, part of the Desire series it seems and dubbed HTC Desire 650. It has been certified by the NCC, the Taiwanese equivalent of the FCC, with full support for local 4G frequencies.
We don’t have specs for this model, but we expect it to be an evolution from the HTC Desire 630 smartphone, unveiled earlier this year with the Desire 825 and Desire 530. It should also be related to the HTC Desire 628, launched at the end of the Spring. The Desire 630 was a 5 inch HD display phone, with a Snapdragon 400 CPU and 2 GB of RAM.
It adopted the cool graffiti spotted design, that will possibly also make it on the Desire 650. That model may come with more RAM, maybe 3 GB, perhaps a better CPU, from the Snapdragon 6xx series and maybe it’ll bump the screen to a higher diagonal and resolution. The 2200 mAh battery could also use an upgrade. Dolby acoustics will probably be kept.
