HTC is ready to let loose yet another Desire series model, this time a 7xx unit, not an 8xx one. However, looking at its specs list, we seem to be getting more of the same experience. The handset has been certified by TENAA and it looks something like this:

htc-Desire728

Codenamed HTC D728w, the device is going to end up on the market as the HTC Desire 728. This phone comes with dual SIM Slots and 4G connectivity. Its waistline is 7.87 mm thick, which by HTC standards is ultraslim. The handset weighs 149.62 grams and it comes with an octa core 1.3 GHz processor. Rumor has it that the handset will be available in two versions: a Snapdragon one and a MediaTek one.

2 GB of RAM are included in the mix, as well as Android 5.1, 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. A 2800 mAh battery is rumored as well and the design is typical for a new gen Desire, with a rectangular format and rounded edges, plus a main camera that’s dangerously close to the corner, easy to obstruct with a finger or two.
