We found about the HTC Desire 830 phablet just a week ago, and today the Taiwanese company is happy to announce its latest member of the Desire family. As expected, we’re dealing here with a mid-range product, one that keeps pretty much the design line we’ve already known from the previous models found in this range.
This phone comes in a polycarbonate case, one that includes some colorful elements in order to offer a more special effect. Interesting about this new phablet is the presence of a pair of front-facing stereo speakers – setup that isn’t included in the actual flagship of the company.
As for the specs, HTC Desire 830 brings a 5.5-inch Full HD Sharp display (1920 x 1080 pixels), an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 3 GB of RAM memory and 32 GB space of internal storage that can be later expanded using a microSD card.
There’s a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and optical image stabilization, and a 4-megapixel front-facing sensor with the UltraPixel tech on board. HTC Desire 830 offers a 2800 mAh battery, unit found in a case that measures 7.79 mm in thickness and that weighs 156 grams. In China, this phone is priced at $311 (tax-free).
