Since CTIA is not yet here to deliver new phones, we get acquainted with new ROMs, that are equally fun in this prolonged winter. The latest software is the leaked HTC Desire HD Gingerbread ROM, that has just hit the web. We’re expecting an official rollout soon, if rumors are to be believed.

Developers are already messing with the ROM as we speak, so we’ll probably see it customized online as soon as possible. A preview of HTC Sense 2.1 on the HTC Desire HD is also available, thanks to this leak. Keep in mind that this is not the time to be messing around with ROMs on your smartphone, if you’re not used to it.

There are many bugs to be corrected, so you should stay away from the leaked software right now and wait for an improved one, or the official Gingerbread for HTC Desire HD.
