If you’re on Verizon and you’re a HTC Droid Incredible owner, you might be happy to know that your handset will be getting the Android 2.2 update next week. The folks of Mashable are the ones with the scoop and they claim that the over-the-air upgrade will be available starting August 18.
Droid Incredible will get many improvements thanks to this upgrade, like a faster browser, improved overall performance, mobile hotspot feature, improved camera function and more. In case you were wondering why we haven’t heard more about this device, know that it hasn’t been on the store shelves too much, because of AMOLED shortages.
These shortages delayed the handset and although it’s a pretty nifty phone, it’s hard to find one these days.
