HTC EVO 3D has just brought another explosion of 3D in our area, after LG Optimus 3D managed to charm us. This new device is very similar to the HTC Sensation and basically, if I were to be mean, I’d say it’s a Sensation with a 3D camera copy/pasted on its back.
Moving to the unboxing, this handset comes with the classic manuals and warranty, a charger, USB cable and headphones. The handset is protected by the classic plastic layer and yet another plastic sheet protects its battery. You’ll need to open the case and remove the plastic thingy, if you want the device to work.
After doing that, we started the handset and found the good old HTC Sense 3.0 on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It’s like testing HTC Sensation all over again, but this time with a 3D camera and 3D display. Said screen stays qHD and the images it shows are of a greater quality than the ones on the LG Optimus 3D, or so it seems to me. We’ll be back with a full review in a couple of days!
