Don’t fret about getting Gingerbread on your smartphone so fast, at least not if you own a HTC EVO 4G. Well, at least you get a firmware update, according to Sprint Community. The carrier has just released a brand new EVO 4G update that includes upgraded versions of Telenav, visual voicemail, Sprint TV and Sprint Zone.
You’ll also find a new game trial in there, plus Blockbuster and Kindle apps, a brand new Scan Now widget that will aid you with locating a 4G signal and finally, Swype keyboard. You should check your phone’s settings if you’re set on finding this firmware update. If not, you’ll find it in the following days anyway.
