Before you get your hopes up that this is yet another HTC leak, know that the HTC Forest model is a concept phone created by Long-Nong Huang. This handset runs a mystery version of Android and brings back the trackball we all loved on smartphones a couple of years ago (I’d still use one).

The device comes with a 4.1 inch SLCD display, a 1.2GHz unknown processor and an aluminum unibody case. That’s about all we know about the design, that could become real one day, in case HTC decides to produce trackball handsets once more. Capacitive touch buttons are placed under the display and the elongated form factor makes us think of HTC Legend or Desire.

Would you buy such a phone if it were real?
