Xmoo is a collector of ROMs and prototype devices and recently he’s managed to score some info concerning a potential follow-up to HTC HD2. Apparently dubbed HTC Leo-S, this device is practically a HD2 with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The ROM collector discovered info about the handset in the registry keys included in one of the ROMs, mentioning the Leo-S with the proper codes for a slide-out QWERTY device. It’s not yet clear if this will be a Windows Mobile handset (one of the last) or a Windows Phone 7 device.

Xmoo also mentions that there’s a new HTC ROM coming (1.78.911.1 with OS 5.2.21905.5.0.93), but no trace of a Windows Mobile 6.5.3 yet. More updates on this story on the collector’s Twitter account.
