@evleaks is a very trusted phone leak source, since it leaked on Twitter pics of the Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 long before they were announced. Now the same source published a picture of the HTC M7, the upcoming 2013 flagship from the Taiwanese phone maker. I have to say this is an unique industrial design and that’s not necessarily something good.
This render is supposed to be part of a short animation clip that instructs new owners of the handset about the SIM card installation. The device lacks branding, as shown and it has a strange display without bezels, leading me to believe this may be an edge to edge handset. We’re expecting it in Barcelona, at Mobile World Congress 2013. It incorporates a 4.7 inch Full HD screen and a quad core 1.7 GHz processor.
The M7 sounds like a premium smartphone in 2013 and we’re really curios to see it turned into reality. It’s supposed to hit the market for a priced a bit above $600 apparently. HTC is also rumored to incorporate on this model the dead and buried IR port, that we last saw on the Sony Xperia Tablet S. HTC M7 is supposed to also play the role of an universal remote thanks to that feature. Excited about the M7? We sure are, but the design is kind of underwhelming.
