A week ago we found out that the Taiwanese company HTC plans a press event for September 29th, day when a new smartphone is expected to be announced. While some of us are thinking that HTC could launch the One A9 flagship, well, we might think wrong. Today we get to know some details from @evleaks that changes a little bit the things.
This day could be the one when HTC will reveal an international variant of the Butterfly 3, smartphone that was announced back in May for the Taiwanese market. The model available at the moment comes with specs like a 5.2 inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM memory and 20-megapixel rear camera.
Next, more precisely some where in Octomber, is expected that HTC to unveil the One A9 smartphone, device that won’t be a flagship as the press suggest. Evan Blass says that this phone will be a mid-range one with 5-inch Full HD Amoled display, 2 GB of RAM memory + 16 GB space of internal storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and 13-megapixel rear cam.
A fingerprint scanner, a 4-ultrapixel front-facing cam and a under 7 mm uni-body metallic case will be part of this phone. Digging a little bit for some information, we found a @evleaks post in which we’re informed that HTC One A9 will be launched in the 4th quarter, sometime in October – December.
What comes like a confirmation of this, is Evan’s post from today. As you can see, it seems that HTC One A9 will be available starting November this year.
