We’re only 4 days away from the big February 19th HTC event, that will probably let us see the HTC One/M7 finally and maybe a few other devices. We already saw the device leaking a lot, we know its specs, so everything is pretty clear now, except for the price and launch date in stores. Well, even that has been cleared today, only for the US market for now.
HTC is expected to start selling the M7 in Europe from March 8th, with that date confirmed by two sources so far. The device will have a price tag of about $880 unlocked, which is huge for any buyer. A trusted source revealed for HTC Source that in USA the handset will be sold from March 22nd and it will launch as the HTC One on AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, with 32 GB of storage. It will be priced starting at $199.99 with a 2 year contract.
You can also buy a 64 GB version, setting you back $299.9. HTC One will come with a metal casing and front facing stereo speakers, plus it will be available in black and silver/white. The unlocked price for Europe sounds crazy and I sure hope it goes down, since this may be a phone with a crazy pixel density and revolutionary camera, but it’s not exactly worth the equal of 4 Nexus 7 tablets…
