HTC One M9 Plus has leaked once this week, impressing everyone with its strong specs and today we stumble upon some AnTuTu results of this model. Apparently, they’re not very impressive, since this is the Chinese version of the smartphone, with a MediaTek CPU.

The 5.5 inch phablet, supposed to have a Quad HD resolution has been spotted in AnTuTu with a PowerVR G6200 GPU, that’s associated to either the MT6595 or the MT6795 CPU. The higher end unit MT6795 chipset is probably the CPU used here, but the CPU rate of 1.95 GHz is pretty strange here. Usually, the chipset reaches around 2.2 GHz, so it feels underclocked.

Anyway, the benchmark result of 34k points, lagging behind the Xperia Z2, which is a Snapdragon 801 model that dates from last year. Even the Snapdragon 800-based Xiaomi Mi3 beats the HTC One M9 Plus in this case. Obviously, the model initially leaked with 3 GB of RAM or Snapdragon 810 CPU is more powerful than that. The QHD screen may be dragging down the performance in the end…
