HTC has announced plans to launch a feature phone in Q4 2009, an Internet-enabled device that will help the company increase its market share. The info comes from Commercial Times, so it’s pretty serious and predictable, if you take into account the manufacturer’s great last year and recent fame.

We learn that the feature phone will be based on Qualcomm’s BREW Mobile Platform and it’ll also come with tons of Flash applications and multimedia services, as stated by the above-mentioned paper.

HTC also seems to be aiming for a piece of the telecom segment, but we’ll provide more info on that, as soon as we get it.
