It seems that the WP7 device known as HTC Titan now has a twin called the HTC Runnymede, but this one is based on Android. The handset has just had its specs leaked and also an image that can be seen below. The Runnymede comes with Beats audio technology and looks like a well built machine.
Also, this is a pretty thin smartphone considering its impressive hardware, at a mere 9.9mm waistline. The handset comes with a 4.7 inch display, that’s why we call it the HTC Titan twin. Too bad that the screen’s resolution is WVGA, else it would have been more impressive. 16 or 32 GB of internal memory and a 1.5GHz Qualcomm CPU round up a pretty appealing specifications list.
Of course I’m talking about a single core processor here of the Snapdragon kind. At the back we find the 8 megapixel camera with 720pp video capture and dual LED flash, similar to the one on the Sensation. Honestly I see no reason to get this device, with the Sensation XE just announced… Who cares about 0.4 inches more on the screen display? The only appeal here is that the single core CPU will mean more battery life and a smaller price…
