The latest predictions regarding HTC’s Q4 performance are looking pretty good, it seems. HTC’s sales are set to increase over the last 3 months of the year, as the vendor debuts new midrange models within the HTC Desire 10 series, as well as the HTC Nexus handsets.

The Taiwanese firm is expected to debut the HTC Desire 10 units at the end of September and the Nexus ones in early Q4. The midrangers will maintain the sales momentum over the second half of the year, a vital aspect, seeing how the latest flagship, HTC 10 has registered lower than expected sales. This is kind of strange, seeing that it was well received in reviews and the users thought highly of it, at least in comparison with the predecessor.

Getting back into the Nexus pool means a vote of confidence for HTC and will boost the brand’s appeal, especially in USA. Sailfish and Marlin have leaked a lot lately, with an interesting design, that takes some angular cues from the HTC 10 and also brings a glass portion at the back of the Sailfish. Time will tell if HTC is ready for a comeback…
