Although most people are waiting for that feminine phone from HTC to deliver Beats by Dre audio technology, it could be the HD display-packing HTC Vigor to do it… or maybe the Sensation model?! I’m talking here about an upgraded HTC Sensation, with a CPU revamp and Beats by Dre audio.
You might be aware of the fact that HTC recently spent $300 million on the acquisition of Beats by Dre. Well, the famous headphones might be bundled with the Sensation refresh and the audio technology may make the cut on its speakers too. The handset is expected to get a 1.5GHz CPU (dual core), more internal storage (4GB instead of 1GB), which is always a welcome addition, and a larger battery.
Pricing i s a mystery, although rumors are saying that you will find the product for free on certain carrier contracts or for $846 outright. No trace of release date yet, but maybe we’ll learn that from this week’s IFA 2011 event in Berlin.
