Although we were expecting it ever since Valentine’s Day, HTC Thunderbolt is only now getting a reliable launch date… It appears that the smartphone will bring 4G LTE to the masses via Verizon starting from March 17th. The info comes from a leaked email and a HTC regional sales manager’s tweet.

A semi-confirmation of said tweet is the fact that the account was deleted soon afterwards. HTC posted on Facebook that it will announce the launch date for Thunderbolt soon, so we should expect goodies this week. Let’s hope that the battery problems we’ve heard about are just speculations or issues of prototypes and not something to be worried about.

Also, let’s not reach Easter time with the launch, please Verizon?
